Wood Venture Company has enjoyed a lengthy and varied connection with the timber industry. In 1998,   Wood Clive  founded a wooden fishing boat enterprise Wales.

Subsequent generations preserved the timber tradition, and today , a fifth‑generation descendant of the founder, manages Wood Venture Group with an expansion to Africa for tropical and exotic wood to supply the furniture industry.
